Ozone House and PiperPartners: A Shared Vision

Our Friends at Ozone House

Recently, the PiperPartners team visited our community partners, Ozone House at their Ann Arbor Headquarters! We met with Allie Schachter, Development Director and Krista Girty, Executive Director and discussed ways the PiperPartners Team can help support their mission, which is to help young people lead safe, healthy, and productive lives through intensive intervention and prevention services.

As you may already know, the PiperPartners team “pays it forward” by donating to Ozone House generously. For every home purchase or sale we close, we donate $50 in our client’s name to Ozone House. Additionally, we actively work to raise awareness for Ozone House through our events and our marketing channels – such as our newsletter and upcoming Client Appreciation BBQ at Gallup Park on July 30th.

What’s Next

Now in our third year partnering with Ozone house, The PiperPartners team has raised, through contributions and donations, more than $8,000 for their use to carry out their programs and mission in our community. We’re proud of that and this year, we plan to raise even more! We are planning a special presentation during our Annual Client Appreciation BBQ this year (check your inboxes for rsvp info!). At this presentation, Ozone House will talk about their success and goals for our community, and will unveil a special capital project they are planning as they enter their 50th year! As Allie Shachter (Development Director at Ozone House) always says, “We don’t want to be getting bigger because that means there is more need, but we are eager to meet as many needs as we can for our community!”

Don’t miss this playground (and more fun) at our Client Appreciation BBQ!

Hopefully, you’ll be able to join us for this presentation to learn a bit more about Ozone House (and to eat some delicious BBQ food with us! If you’re curious in the meantime, please check out their site to see what Ozone House does in our community, and consider helping out yourself! They are always in need of funds and volunteers. If you’re able to make a bigger commitment, they are in particular looking for more help running their 24/7 phone and chat lines!

A Shared Vision

This year marks Ozone House’s 50th anniversary. Over time they have grown to have tremendous strength deep roots in our community. We know that money donated to Ozone House has a great impact on youth in our community. Therefore, we have set our goal even higher through donations of at least that much, AND hopefully donations from our friends in the community.

And of course, if you’d like to learn more about PiperPartners’ connection to Ozone House, drop us a line, we’d love to hear from you! You can also learn more about our mission and core values here.
