As we approach the celebration of Thanksgiving in just a few short days, there is so much to be grateful for and a great time to give a little of ourselves to those who need our time and energy. This is the food rescue and food bank that serves Ann Arbor across 150 non-profit agencies. They have a whopping 7,000 volunteers per year, according to their website! Why not be one of them? Thanksgiving Meal for the Homeless
Ann Arbor Vineyard Church could use some volunteers to help with the setup, food prep, clothing boutique before the serve a meal on Thursday, as well as tons of volunteers on Thursday, as well, not to mention the big task of cleaning up afterwards. Learn more about this event and opportunity HERE.
Fresh Start Clubhouse Meal
This group will be serving a meal on Thursday and needs volunteers to pull it all off. Fresh Start is an organization that assists adults living with mental illness to support and encourage their abilities. CLICK HERE to learn more about participating in this event.
The Breakfast at St. Andrew’s
Breakfast is served every day of the year at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church – to anyone who needs it, without questions! Volunteers arrive at 7:00 a.m. to set up and prepare simple foods and everything is done and cleaned up by 9:00 a.m. To learn more about this opportunity, CLICK HERE.
